configure: error: Installation of tclcl seems incomplete or can’t be found
automatically.
Please correct the problem by telling configure where tclcl is
using the argument –with-tclcl=/path/to/package
(perhaps after installing it),
or the package is not required, disable it with –with-tclcl=no.
How do I check if the installation of tclcl is done or not? (There is no tclcl shown in /usr/bin/)
And if tclcl is installed, what is its path?
If not, then how do I install it?
Thank You,
The Learner
First install ns2.34 successfully using the installation script as follows :
Change to allinone-2.34/ folder
# ./install
It will install tclcl.
After successful installation, edit the .profile or .bash_profile with settings.
(for example, the following link will provide the profile settings for ns2.28
http://www.projectguideline.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=9)
After that only tclcl will be in path (the linux shell can recognize it) and you can separately compile ns-2.34 again if necessary as follows :.
allinone-2.34/ns-2.34$ ./configure
