Dear all,
Please can you help me with steps in installing the NIST module in ns-2.29. I took the steps below and it is not runing the wimax-wimax and wimax-wlan scripts from NIST. it is only running the wireless.tcl and web-traffic.tcl. The steps I took are:
1) I installed ns-2.29 successfully (from the ns-allinone-2.29.3.tar.gz at the http://www.sourceforge.net website) in Linux Fedora Core 5.
2) I uncompressed the NIST mobilty package and used the ns-2.29 folder from it to replace the one in the ns-allinone-2.29 folder.
3) I then ran: ./configure in the ns-2.29 folder
4) I then ran: make also in the ns-2.29 folder ( although there was a complain of bluetooth files)
If I run: “./configure ; make clean ; make” then I won’t be able to run the ANY script at all.
After all these I could not run the NIST tcl scripts in the tcl/hsntg folder, it was always complaining of mac802.16 lines in the scripts, but I was able to run the tcl scripts in the /tcl/ex folder eg wireless.tcl and web-traffic.tcl
Please what do you think is the problem? Please could you help me urgently I have a deadline already for my project.
Thanks so much for your time!
