need clarification in droptail..

thank you for the reply sir. i am doing scheduling in WLAN . In this i need to attach my c++ codings in ns2 in the queue management scheme named droptail. perhaps this drop tail concept will be as, it allows the packet in to the queue till the buffer gets full, when the buffer is full, the new packets that are entering are automatically dropped. in my work, to increase the throughput , i am using a new algorithm just done now in c++. Now,my doubt is ” i need to get a clear understanding of that droptail that is already available in ns2 package,so that it will be very easy for me to implement my algorithm and to patch it in ns2 as my concept is related to queueing”. waiting for reply. thanks a lot for the reply.
