Regarding TCP congestion control in heterogeneous

    Hi

    I am currently doing a project based on TCP congestion control in heterogeneous networks. I am using SNACK and ECN in my algorithm to improve the TCP throughput in a network with mobile destinations.
    1.)Could u suggest any method in which i can differentiate losses at MAC layer and if its possible how can it tell the sender about the type of loss?

    2.) Can i use both MAC layer based loss differetiator and ecn in same algorithm because ecn can also be used as loss differentiator?
